Taking pleasure in materials

One thing we can all learn from children is to live in the moment and enjoy small things.

We are very much enjoying our growing recycled material collections – today we picked up four large tubs of red and gray clay scraps from Claytek Studio. The children will enjoy tactile play with this – squishing, mushing, poking, spreading – as preparation for sculpture work later on and just for fun.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the small things!

  1. Children are great at teaching us to live in the moment. And I love the fact that so many materials are recycled and reused. This resourcefulness is an inspiration!
